Brandon...
I was raised in Brighton, MI by two wonderful Christian parents. I have a background in the automotive field, IT field, and have been a pastor for over 22 years now in different ministry contexts. I love God and following Jesus Christ to my best ability every day. Discipleship is my sweet spot, as I love sharing life with people the way Jesus did and helping others to listen for the Holy Spirit in their lives. For fun, I enjoy cooking and creating good food for people to enjoy. Camping, fishing, and hunting are also some of my favorite past times, as well as working on my classic car out in the garage. I love my wife Jessica, love being a father, and enjoy sharing life with my family.
PBJ...
Pastor Brandon and Jessica, AKA - PBJ. We are best friends and love sharing life together as God guides us in his will. Brandon lives his dream job as a Pastor, Chaplain, and Teacher and Jessica lives hers working part-time at a gourmet pie shop (click Sweetielicious) and managing our home and family life. Together, we love Jesus, pizza, and Michigan football. We enjoy trips together for camping and kayaking as well as warm weather destinations.
Hobbies & Fun...
Family is important to me and so anything involving them is wonderful! Jessica and I enjoy going to the movies and searching for new "local eats" to discover and enjoy. We also enjoy camping for the peaceful get-a-way to the woods or the Great Lakes. Cooking is an ever-growing passion, as I love making good food and sharing it with friends and family. Fishing and hunting are two outdoor activities I thoroughly enjoy, as well as biking and kayaking. I also enjoy working in my garage on different projects, especially working on my project car for the "grease monkey" has never left my heart.

Family...
Jessica and I love our home, our five children, my mom who lives with us, and our dog Gracie. Today, three of the five kids have launched themselves into adult life and one of them is married. (No grandkids yet!) The other two are still at home finishing up high school... only a couple of years left until we're empty nesters! When we speak about family, we also include our misional community peeps! With them, we are a family on mission serving God, our community, and growing together in Christ.
Education & Career...
I started out at Ferris State University, achieving an associates degree in auto tech and then working for General Motors for close to 7 years in a future development group. When I quit running from God's tap on my shoulder, I entered pastoral ministry and went on to become a fully ordained minister and complete a bachelors degree in organizational development as well as a Masters degree in Spiritual formation from Spring Arbor University. After about ten years of traditional ministry, I began to change in favor of a more missional form of ministry. In that time I completed my doctor of ministry degree at Portland Seminary (at George Fox University) and have completed CPE courses as well as Board Certified Chaplain with the Spiritual Care Association. Today, I am a co-vocational minister ordained in the Wesleyan church working as a pastor of missional communities and church planting coach, a hospice chaplain with McLaren Hospice, and an adjunct professor at Spring Arbor University. It's taken me a long to get here, but I like to say I am living in my sweet-spot now, as I love my careers and all that God has brought me through, and to.
